Program Consent

I consent to my child participating in the Little Social Stars program run by Enriching Early Learning. I understand this is a social-emotional learning enrichment program and is not a clinical, therapeutic, diagnostic, or childcare service. The program does not replace professional assessment, speech-language pathology, occupational therapy, or psychological services.

Errors & Omissions

I understand that observations, suggestions, and guidance shared by the facilitator during or after sessions are based on their professional experience and training as a social-emotional learning educator. These are not clinical diagnoses or professional assessments. Enriching Early Learning is not liable for any outcomes resulting from actions taken by parents or caregivers based on information shared during the program.

Emergency Contact & Medical

I confirm that all information provided during enrolment — including emergency contacts, medical information, and allergies — is accurate and up to date. I will notify Enriching Early Learning promptly if any of this information changes. I consent to the facilitator seeking emergency medical assistance for my child if required and I cannot be reached.

Authorised Pickup

I confirm that only I or an authorised adult I have notified in advance will drop off and collect my child. Enriching Early Learning will not release my child to any person not previously authorised. I will inform the facilitator in advance if someone other than the usual caregiver will be collecting my child.

Mandatory Reporting

I understand that under the BC Child, Family and Community Service Act, the facilitator is a mandatory reporter. If there is reasonable cause to suspect a child is being abused or neglected, the facilitator is legally required to report this to the relevant authorities regardless of any other considerations.

Liability Waiver

Enriching Early Learning takes all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all participants. I release Enriching Early Learning and its facilitators from liability for any injury, loss, or damage arising from my child's participation in the program, except where directly caused by negligence on the part of Enriching Early Learning.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

The $25 registration fee is non-refundable under all circumstances. Program fees are refunded only if Enriching Early Learning cancels a session or the program is discontinued. No refunds are provided for sessions missed by the child. If a parent withdraws from the program mid-term, fees already paid will not be refunded.

Withdrawal Policy

If I wish to withdraw my child from the program, I will notify Enriching Early Learning in writing with a minimum of two weeks notice. Withdrawal does not entitle me to a refund of fees already paid. The registration fee remains non-refundable.

Behaviour Expectations

Enriching Early Learning is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all children. If a child's behaviour consistently disrupts the safety or wellbeing of the group, the facilitator reserves the right to ask the child to leave the program. In such cases, fees already paid will not be refunded.

Program Changes

Enriching Early Learning reserves the right to modify the session schedule, curriculum, location, or facilitator as needed. Parents will be notified of any significant changes in advance. Enriching Early Learning also reserves the right to cancel a term if minimum enrolment is not met, in which case a full refund of program fees will be provided.

Communication Consent

I consent to receiving program updates, session notes, invoices, and general communications from Enriching Early Learning via the email and phone number provided. My information will not be shared with third parties.
