WHAT IS BELONGING HUB?

The Belonging Hub is a small-group social-emotional learning space where children build confidence, connection, and a true sense of belonging. Through play, guided interaction, and real-life practice, children will learn to understand their feelings, form genuine friendships, and navigate social challenges with support. In a nurturing, structured environment, each child is seen, supported, and empowered to grow into a capable, connected individual.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this therapy or a clinical program?

No — The Belonging Hub is an enrichment and skills program, not therapy or a clinical service. It’s designed for children who would benefit from dedicated social-emotional learning in a warm small-group setting.

My child already does some social-emotional learning at school — is this still worth it?

Yes — and here’s why. Schools introduce feelings and social skills at a whole-class level with limited time. The Belonging Hub delivers it in a small group of up to 8 children, with consistent, intentional practice in every session. Children who already have some foundation often settle in fastest and go furthest.

Can my child join mid-term?

Occasionally, yes — subject to availability. We recommend joining at the start of a term, when possible, so your child can build connections with the group from the beginning. Get in touch, and we’ll let you know what’s available.

My child is shy — will they cope in a group?

Absolutely. Groups are small and intimate, and every session starts with gentle free play and settling time. Many of our children arrive shy and leave confidently, saying goodbye to friends. The small group size is intentional — it makes all the difference.

How do I know which program is right for my child?

Book a free 15-minute intro chat and we’ll figure it out together. We’ll ask about your child’s age, their current social-emotional strengths and areas to work on, and which program level is the right starting point. There’s no pressure — it’s just a conversation.
