What is Enriching Early Learning Community?
Enriching Early Learning Community is built around the life of 2 children – Sophie who is 8 years old today and Ryan who is 4 years old today. This community is a modest version of a larger Early Childhood Community. It has been built around the idea that every young child grows in the context of his surrounding. With people around, children learn to associate and trust them which fosters their socio-emotional development. When children build and experience different relationships in their community, it helps to lay foundation for skills like tackling challenges, problem solving, building knowledge and thriving as they grow up.
Who are the members of Enriching Early Learning Community?
We built this community as we drew inspiration from the proverb, “It takes a village to raise a child.” We all know this is true however, learning first begins at home. Hence parent involvement becomes a key. So we have introduced 2 essential members in our community – Tanya and Tanmay who are parents to Sophie and Ryan. We are extremely proud of them as they have left no stones unturned while nurturing and providing stimulating environment to both kids across their parenting journey. Next, parents are often dependent on schools for expanding the knowledge base and experiences of their young children. That is where we have Aaliya as an Early Childhood Educator and the fifth essential member of EEL community. Aaliya comes with hands on teaching-learning experiences with children. With this, we open our arms to invite every parent and educator to be part of our Enriching Early Learning Community and help us extend our community so that we can turn it into a VIRTUAL VILLAGE. This will become a base for every child to grow healthy and holistically.
